Chickpea Curry at home

After advising a friend on how to change up her chickpea preparation  for the night I realised I could share this recipe with everyone.

You an use canned chickpea for this, in some oil fry off diced onion, grated ginger and garlic. Once the oil seperates from this mixture add a pinch of tumeric and 1-2 tsp garam masala/ meat masala. Fry that off and once done add crushed/diced or paste tomato. Add the chickpeas to it and some water. Enjoy it as an accompaniment to rice or bread.

Add Cauliflower/ Broccoli or Kale to make it even more wholesome. For a tropical twist add coconut milk instead of water.
